A payload processing facilities and support agreement is a document drafted when a satellite manufacturing company or an aero plane manufacturing company gives the contract to a contractor to perform payload processing service. Such agreements are usually entered into by space research organizations.

The organization giving the contract is referred to as the client and the contractor getting the contract is referred to as the contractor. The agreement is usually valid for a certain time period known as the agreement term. As per the agreement the contractor is allowed to use the facilities of the client. The agreement states in detail the various payload processing services to be performed and support required to be given by the contractor.

The total cost involved in performing the payload processing service is also mentioned in the agreement. This cost is usually referred to as firm fixed price order and also includes the remuneration of the contractor.
