A placement agreement is a type of an agreement which is made when a person or party places another person or party at a particular position in either a company or any other organization. Any such agreement is used to lay down the details which are important for the placement of the individual.

These agreements are formed by and between the company and the employee or applicant. Any placement agreement stresses upon the fact that the applicant has been placed at a certain position and shall remain placed for a certain fixed duration of time which is known as the effective period of the placement agreement.

A placement agreement also gives the various legal terms and conditions based upon which the parties sign the agreement. These terms and conditions describe the duties and responsibilities of the placed individual and also talk about the responsibilities that the company or employer has to fulfill for the entire effective period.
