Indiana Lease Agreement

February 4, 2012 by agri in Lease agreements with 0 Comments
An Indiana lease is referred to a lease agreement created between two or more parties in the state of Indiana in the US. Although there can be different types of lease contracts, this is usually referred to residential lease agreements. A lease agreement means a contract between the landlord and the tenant whereby the former decides to lease to the latter a property owned by him for a particular period of time and in return for a monthly rent.

These terms are similar in any lease agreement no matter which state they belong to. Indiana has certain laws which give special rights to the landlord and the tenant. Landlords here have the right to evict tenants if they don’t follow the terms in the contract. If the agreement has been made for a period of one year, then he tenant has to pay the rent for the whole year, even if he doesn’t live there the whole time.
